WHAT IT CATCHES

Small data problems become expensive closing problems.

We focus on deterministic exceptions that can be reviewed before they reach Shopify or your ledger.

01

Missing history

Detect absent purchase order, stocktake, cost, and current product exports.

02

Broken SKU mapping

Flag blank and duplicate identifiers before historical records are matched.

03

Cost gaps

Find zero, blank, negative, and unparseable unit costs that distort valuation.

04

Open purchase orders

Surface in-flight records that need closing or recreation at cutover.

05

Period risk

Identify invalid dates that can move a receipt or cost into the wrong month.

06

Currency policy

Show where more than one currency needs an explicit close and FX rule.

THE HANDOFF

From fragile exports to a reviewable close pack.

The free checker is the front door. Paid work starts only when the findings are specific enough to scope.

1
CHECK

Inspect the exit set

Classify files and expose migration blockers on the user's own device.

2
RECONCILE

Map and preserve history

Resolve SKU, supplier, date, currency, and open-order exceptions with an approval trail.

3
CLOSE

Repeat every month

Produce cost history, valuation, landed-cost checks, and an accountant-readable evidence pack.

DESIGN-PARTNER PILOT

Start with a fixed result, not a software promise.

The first three paid pilots are deliberately service-assisted. That lets us prove the data problems, the repeatable rules, and the monthly value before adding more product.

PLAIN ANSWERS

What this first version does—and does not do.

Are files uploaded?

No. The checker reads CSV files in the browser. It has no account system, database, analytics pixel, or upload endpoint.

Does it migrate data automatically?

No. It creates a readiness report and mapping evidence. Production imports remain an explicit, reviewed step.

Is this accounting assurance?

No. The tool detects structural and reconciliation risks. Your accountant chooses valuation, FX, tax, and reporting policies.

Which files should I include?

Completed and open purchase orders, stocktake history, historical or average unit cost, and the current Shopify product export.
