STOCKY MIGRATION AUDIT
Know whether your Stocky archive is usable before you migrate.
A migration-readiness audit for retailers, Shopify POS partners, inventory consultants, and accountants.
ShelfClose does not choose your replacement app or write to Shopify. It checks whether the exported evidence behind the migration is structurally complete and reviewable.
What a useful audit should answer
- 01
Which expected export types are missing?
- 02
Can historical records still be matched to current Shopify variants?
- 03
Which purchase orders are still open or partially received?
- 04
Are unit costs blank, zero, negative, or recorded in multiple currencies?
- 05
Do invalid dates put receipts or costs in the wrong period?
- 06
Which decisions need approval from operations or accounting?
Problems worth finding while Stocky is still available.
Migration scope is not archive scope
A replacement app may import products and current stock without preserving the historical records your operations and finance teams still need.
CSV success can be misleading
A file can open cleanly while still containing blank SKUs, missing costs, duplicated counts, or unresolved order statuses.
Audit before transformation
Keep an untouched export set. Record every mapping or cleaning decision separately so the original evidence remains available.
A simple audit sequence
Freeze an untouched copy of the exports
Run a structural and mapping review
Assign every exception to operations or finance
Document approved cleaning rules
Re-run the check and archive the final report
Check the files without uploading them.
